At CC Massage Therapy, we are dedicated to promoting your health and well-being. By offering Registered Massage Therapy and Non-Registered Massage Therapy, we can help you achieve your health goals.
What's the difference between Registered and Non-Registered Massage Therapy?
Non-Registered Massage Therapists have learnt their techniques from either a school or mentor but have not passed the required exams to be registered with a professional association. They are not covered by health insurance plans but offer massage therapy at a significantly lower cost than RMTs.
In British Columbia, anyone can legally call themselves a "Massage Therapist"; however, therapists with the designation "RMT" are Registered Massage Therapists that have met competency standards set out by their local regulatory College.
